Kia ora family!! Had a awesome second week here in Milwaukee. Its a huge city and its been the biggest crack up trying to remember streets and their names. We are lost half the time but finding our way around better each day. The bus systems are crazy man, well be walking fast as heck to a bus stop and well see the bus coming from a far. My 2nd wind will kick in and we just start sprinting to make the busses before they pass by its the most crack up thing. We do this all day long just to get from point A to point B. At the same time the snow has been coming down hard and its been cold as the mother. With all of these things its been the greatest week of my mission. Even though it was freezing and windy we worked our butts off and were lead to heaps of people. My leaders had to ask us how we had so many lessons and found so many new investigators, I told them we are just out when were supposed to be and working and were obedient. The spirit realy is felt all day and the promise that the lord will give you in the moment what ye shall say has been fulfilled so many times and I have a testimony first hand of obededience and that with the spirit miracles will happen for you in the mission field no matter who you are or where your serving. its been such a awesome week. My companion and I get along real well I love him and its been a pleasure for me to share with him all things that Iv learned up to this point in my mission. I took your advice con and have really treated him as if he were really my own brother which he is and I really find myself being and leading with more Christlike love and really just the desire to offer him everything I know and cherish. Its been awesome. We were out tracting this week and tracted into a home that was at the time having a family gathering. We got in and taught this whole household of people the restored gospel and had a powerful lesson. I have become so passionate and have developed unconditional love for the savior and his work that I truly am willing to do anything to bring this message to his other children even if it means stepping way out of my comfort zone and doing the hard things. We recieved 15 new investigators from this lesson and they felt the spirit so strong it was truly the highlight of my week. The work has been awesome and our progress is moving rapidly upon our efforts to work. iv been spending heaps of money since iv been here especially with the huge increase of missionaries this month we were pretty much just left to die in our apartment. I had to use heaps of money and I bought myself a new suit aswell lol cuz my other grey one does not fit me at all. Sorry you falas im probly running you dry ay lol. I love you guys though so much and iv grown closer with you all being so far away its crazy. Im so happy we all have a special love for each other and are so strong in the gospel, its what allows me to bear such a powerful testimony of how the gospel blesses families, because I know that it does cuz it has, and we contiunue to be blessed as we remain faithful to our covenants and obligations to follow and be, even as Jesus was perfect. Ash bro thanks for writing me g, it means a lot to me ay bro. Tearing it up out there bro, im so proud of you. Lia you to girl, your guys testimonies have grown so much, Im a proud brother. I love you falas, thanks for your support, your love and guidance. Iv never been more happy, im enjoying the blessings of the spirit here and im continually moving foward in my growing desire to serve more effectively everyday. Have a mean week you falas.

Kia ora family!! fa its awesome to hear from you guys. Im here in my new area. We are given 20 minutes on the computers cuz we dont have library cards yet lol. This week has been a crazy one ay. Got my new companion fresh out of the MTC, his name is Elder Bryce Harper-Smith. Hes from mesa Arizona and hes a awesome dude ay. This week was a crack up. Our first day in we didnt even have a house so we just jumped in with the other elders here and slept on there ugly floor it was terrible. We got moved in the next day though but had a box full of crap for our house. We spent our first whole day pretty much building our house and everything in it lol it was a crack up first impression for my comp out on the mission. Our first 2 days we didnt even have toilet paper and we were just cracpping and cleaning our bums in the shower hahaha it was crack up. My comp was like "dang this is what the missions like!!!" haha but anyway our area is pretty much a 2nd mexico. Its just filled with them ay its crazy. We live in a huge city and we walk and catch the busses. Weve been lost as crap and I have no clue we we are half the time. We spend the 2nd half of our day trying to find our way back home lol. Im doing my best though to really learn the area fast so that we can just work effective. The lord really does know us ay and its so cool how he never has given me an opportunity to get comfortable in my mission. The mission really is the most uncomfortable place to be and things to do that are really just outside your comfort zone. But the thing is we grow doing uncomfortable things. I love that I get a whole new experience here and its nothing iv ever expereinced so far just being lost and really starting from ground zero again. I love my companion and I really am just drilling the crap out of him ay. Hes been in shock this whole week just getting into houses that looks like a herd of animals went through it and just walking in and teaching these people. This past week we found heaps of new investigators, and had heaps of new lessons. First week and we saw heaps of awesome things happen. Iv been way tired ay cuz we just walk hard out everyday in the snow and crap, with all our gears its crack up as cuz when we get into homes we look handsome az. Anyway though family I love you guys. Hope everyone is doing mean. I studied Jacob ch5 in the BOM today and it really hit me hard how all the prophesies and commandments of the lord are all being fulfilled. It talks about how the lord of the vinyard is laboring with the servant of the vinyard to prune and preserve of the olive trees because the end draweth nigh. It talks about how much worth every tree is to the lord and man its so true and how we are the few that were chosen in this last dispensation to prepare and prune the (trees of the vinyard) or the saints for the end wich shall surely come. The lord really has been along side me through thick and thin here on my mission and he really is our biggest fan in the work. The greatest joys of life are found in serving others. And the lord promises that we will have great joy in our labors. He is most interested in helping us fulfill his purposes. This calling means a lot to me ay family especially how close we are to the end. We will be judged also on how diligent we were in serving the lord in opening our mouths, and declaring the gospel to those around us. Thats me ay family, My missions mean, first week, only the begginning but got a lot of good ahead of us. Love you guys have a good week, here from you next week.

Hey family!! so good to hear from you guys ay. Crack up the snow over here ay. To be honest, every ones soft over here in terms of snow. Iv been alguds ay family, im the only one who hasent gotten sick. Iv been warm as, got the gears ay hahaha crack up. I just found out the other day that I'm getting transferred, opening up a new Spanish area in Milwaukee, training a new fala. I'm excited as heck for the new transfer, new goals and experiences, mean. Its been a crazy last week. Sad as to leave all theses people whom iv taught and grown with. Iv really built a great love for these people and know I was able to do my part with the time the lord had given me. I loved it completely ay, its been an amazing ride for me here in Kenosha. These past two days iv just been doing my good byes and last lessons to all those that we teach, man its like leaving home again. Milwaukee is gonna be good ay. No car, so ill be hiking hard in the snow hoohoo beautiful ay. Had a awesome week though family. Its just been a huge reflection as I prepare to depart, for me looking at my area, my investigators, my branch, my companion and really evaluating myself and the works that I produced in the lords time. I really feel like Iv given the lord my all and hes blessed me with a sense of peace and comfort and contentment with the outcome of everything here. I love my mission so much, and I love all the people that I serve, Its been a real special time for me and Im so happy ay family. Every soul really is great in the sight of god and I feel that for the people here. We have our baptism with Cecilia and her granddaughter coming up next week and I wont even get to be here for it cuz my area is to far away, but algud ay. Yesterday I went and sang to all my investigators and they were all emotional ay, its so cool to watch people progress spiritually and its found so abundantly out here in the service of the lord. Its the same joy the lord has in our success and when we make right decisions, its awesome. But family, that's me ay, just trying to walk the talk. You falas sound awesome as. Sounds like everyone else is dying over there ay terrible Hawaii diets thats why lol wassup with that, life really is short ay but only the beginning step to our eternal glory. Thanks for everything family, Ash bro do track bro, youll learn crap that you don't learn at football practice, like how to run properly. You can always do football crap and do ladders, track it up i say bro, but do your thing g. You've helped me so much in my mission bro, through your example, I love you bro, the mission really is but a dream ay and I'm living every moment even to the very last day of every transfer. Mum and dad I love you too ay. Man the family means 100 times More to you when then not there. thanks for being awesome parents. I have such a great life, spoiled and blessed. That's why I'm so passionate about how much the gospel really can bless families because my own family is a walking testimony of it. Thank you so much, love you all ay. I don't have much time today on the computers but Ill hear from you next week, love you falas, lets do it again ay, doitz!!!

Kia ora family again!!

hoohoo you falas are beautiful ay, you guys on missions too? oiyoiy shuah!!
haha crack up family, good to hear from you all ay, I love you falas man!! Its crazy how proative you guys are. I know Im non-stop moving but it seems you all are in the same boat just different aspects!! lol thats a beautiful thing family, no rest for the wicked ay, thats my motto hard man. My companion always says, "give me a break" and im like "theirs no time for breaks ow" satan doesnt rest ay, we cant afford to take breaks. But thats cool the kids are hard out into your sports ay, mean. Hope you guys are working your butts off, to represent our last name "kaka" oiy. lol mean you falas, I miss you kids man. Time and this life really is short ay. Before you know it well all be married and have our own families. I was thinking about that today. Man we have to cherish every moment together in this life, living, loving and growing together as a family, cuz time is too short and precious. Im so grateful for the time I had to grow and learn from you all. My foundation and the principles I live and apply have all been rooted from the things I learned at home. Im so grateful for you all ay. Con bro no chicks g?? sup wit dat dog? na thats crack up bro, I hope your still there when I get home g, bros before ho's member? lol shot family. Mum and Dad you falas are too mean uce, str8 up parents you are the bombs, I love you guys and feel like Iv come closer too you all being out here on my mission, its crazy. Thanks for all you falas do for me to be here. Every week is a miracle and blessing for me. The lord has been so merciful to me and iv been blessed from the very begginning of my mission. This past week just flew by. It was a good one. Transfers are next week and ma girl cecilia gets baptized the following week so I prohbably wont be here for that. I assume Im getting transfered cuz Iv been here 6 months now. I love it here though and just being here for this period Iv had more of the opportunity to see progression in peoples lives, in our small branch and more so in myself. I have a testimony of the atonement. Iv watched people make huge changes in their lives and I myself have made changes in myself that I never thought were possible and Iv recieved greater light and understanding to the gospel and plain and precious things that it offers. Jesus Christ in 3 nephi 12:48 gives us a commandment to be perfect even as he is after providing for us a way to do that, the Atonement. It amazes me the potential and capacity that we as children of god have in this life in becoming so great, and its been a huge treat for me to exprience that for myself. This past week was hard core. We are teaching many different families and none of them are married. Only with the spirit were we(young 20 year olds) able to testify of gods great plan for families and the strict importance of living the law of chastity and committing them to change the way that they were living their lives. Thats a miracle to me family. Two of these families are really seeing the light and were blown away by our powerful message and commited to get married and and then baptized. A lot of good things happening here, with the work and its been the greatest time of my mission. The wheather has been crazy ay, deep as snowing its been awesome to work in lol. My companion is from Idaho and he said hes never seen snow like here before, so it must be extreme ay. Within a few hours there was 2ft of snow, crack up ay. I love you though family, Im doing good as ay, having some awesome things happen here and the church has never been more true for me. Hope you guys all have a mean week, I love you all, go hard up the guts you falas cheehooo!!
elder kaka

kia ora again family!! awesome letters as always. I'm happy to hear that everyone is doing so well and strong in everything. Its crazy how much people have decided to go on missions. Its so cool how it has really changed peoples goals and desires to serve the lord and man the lord really knows what he is doing. I love you my family and miss you guys so much too ay. I really am too tired at the end of the day and week to even get homesick and so I'm grateful that the lord has helped me be strong on my mission. The goal is to have no regrets ay family. Its one of my biggest fears in life, is regret. Something my branch president once told me is that the end of your mission is a reflection of the end of your life. The lord has blessed me from the beginning of my mission with a clear vision of my purpose and I can honestly say that its only been an up journey for me. Not that I haven't fallen and made mistakes, but there has really been nothing holding me back from getting back up and making a change. I know that the lord doesn't expect us to be perfect, but he expects us to get back up when we fall. Family Iv had a really awesome week. I finished reading the Book of Mormon again for my 3rd time. it was an amazing manifestation that the lord gave to me of its divinity. It wasn't after I prayed that day but through out the week, in lessons I was given opportunities to bear witness of it. I received plural times, strong, powerful, undeniable witnesses of it. I cant explain what that feeling is like, but as I continue to receive it, my testimony grows. I don't understand how people can fall away from the gospel after receiving that witness. The scriptures teach that their is no greater witness than that of God/ the Holy Ghost. Its more powerful than the manifestation of an angel or an angelic being, but we are all entitled as members to receive that same powerful witness, its a beautiful thing. I had a cool experience this past week with an investigator whom iv been teaching ever since I got here 6 months ago. Her name is Cecilia Bello and shes 65 years old. She has been off and on with us for a long time and shes had plural baptismal dates that have come and gone. Its really been a roller coaster for her but we just have refused letting her go for some reason. We had a lesson with her and the Senior couples in her home this past week and it was a miracle. The lesson we prepared to teach her was exactly what she needed to hear. We went in there and really listened to her, and discerned what she needed to hear and then we just really taught powerfully to those needs through our message. Something hit her that day and I saw a complete change in her countenance. We invited her to be baptized and with surety she said yes. She came to church this Sunday and she just has had like the scriptures say, "a wrought change" in her. The timing was right and the lord knew that she was ready to hear from us again and all we did was follow the spirit. I know the lord prepares his children to be ready to accept the gospel in his own time. I cant imagine what would have happened if we gave up teaching her. She was ready and the lord knew it. It was such a cool experience and I'm just too grateful to be a missionary to see moments like this happen in the work. I know she will be baptized and its the baptism that we've been waiting for. My companion and I continue to improve and grow together even though we've been together for so long. It hasn't been roses ay lol but con bro we do have some mean invetory's bro. Good constructive ones ay. Its corny but its so necessary. Things are all good here family. Been snowing hard out, but it ain't as bad as you think, everything all g. That was my week, the work is going we find and teach like crazy and are getting closer and closer to finding those who are prepared. I love you family ay, str8 up the bum you falas haha. Hope you all are still having jams still, its a beautiful things you falas. I love you guys like no other, my best friends. Man your my extra motivation to go harder and harder each week, to give a little more and more. I'm blessed to have you all, I cant imagine what it must be like for the other missionaries who don't have that. You falas have a mean as week with your sports, school, work and everything else. Dont give up!

hows em ay family!!!!hoohoo beautiful auntie!

mean as letters family, always ay! Every ones doing mean, I love it. Thanks for all your testimonies, thanks for your sacrifices, I love you guys so much ay. About the mission, afterwards. I have no clue ay you falas, I don't know. Whatever works best I guess. Since ash will be living shortly after, you falas just plan the happs and just let me know somewhere in the future. I'm all g with whatevs. Anyways though Ash bro, what the crap!!!! str8 A's G!! OIYOIYOIY sole changed man alright, what happened uce? na thats mean as bro, fa I'm proud of you bro, especially that your doing better than I did bro, good way to go ash. Lia my beautiful sister, I love you Lia, thanks for working so hard that I can be here. Know that I m working so hard and that the money is being utilized in the purpose of the salvation of the people here. Man I'm so blessed ay family to have you guys. I'm doing awesome as out here. Its been a good week, busy as crap, but I love it. One thing Iv learned that has been most beneficial for me is organization. Iv learned so much the importance of being prepared. And that organization is preparation. Iv been able to accomplish 10 times more than I have previously in my mission simply through being organized and prepared. Theres so many things we juggle in life, so much to remember and do and its become my testimony that If we want to accomplish more and be of more use to the lord, we must be organized and prepared with the time he has given us, and that includes constantly setting and achieving goals. It has been a miracle for me to serve here in Kenosha. Its been most humbling for me to serve new to the language, being in a small branch with plural callings, being a district leader and trying to be the best missionary all together. Iv only come to more fully accomplish the tasks of the mission through the principle of goal setting, being organized and prepared. The lord really has stretched me. and man he does it so that we can learn and grow, so that we can stand as powerful witnesses of him as our testimonies of him increase. This has happened to me. Iv received so many witnesses of this truth as iv been obedient to the lord even in the hard times. Its been a good learning week for me, a slow(in means of the work) but hard working and self learning for me ay. I want the baptisms family and despite my weaknesses I'm doing everything I can to get them, to strengthen my investigators through my spirit and ability to teach the restored gospel. I love the fact that there is 101 different churches in the areas where I serve because my testimony of the restoration has become immovable. We really are the only true church on the earth and its evident through how exactly established our church is to the way that Christ established it. Its a beautiful things ay family, and I'm apart of it. I don't have much to say but that the work is going. I love you my family. If you guys have any questions about the work, my mission, whatevs just let me know lol cuz I feel like I just explaining the life over here. But na family Wisconsin is all g, the weather is out of it, one minute blizzard nek minute ice storm, than raining hard out. out of it as. But man I'm healthy as ay lol ha vent got sick once yet so ye fa I'm blessed ay haha. shot family, have a mean week family, ill hear form you all then.!
elder kanahele ootz!!

Your the man bro, I love you g, I know that everything said is true bro, no doubt. Our potential is greater than we think ay. The quote that always gets me is "as man is, god once was, as god is, man may become." Our potential has to be great, if the greatest of all once was in our shoes. The ability to improve will never end. Bro I love you uce, have a mean week!!

kia ora family!! tu teks tamatos and wiiwiis haha! shot family!

How you guys doing ay? sound awesome as! sorry didnt write you falas on Monday lol our P-day moved to Wednesday cuz monday was a prime pros day and yesterday was zone conference, explain!! but so good to hear from you family. Lia that's beautiful that your enjoying yourself in volleyball. you kids are growing up fast as man. Ash bro that's crack up that you play on vars bro lol i feel like i just graduated from kahuku yesterday. Mean bro, dad says your 3 is coming g, oiy shuah! mean little bro, tear it up ash. you still lifting bro? putting some beef on? shot ash. Con bro, no ones good enough for you ay bro lol sorry bout that ay bro. How school going bro, still going for the doctor? mean bro!! Anyway though family that's cool that everyone is busy with all sorts of things and that's tight that the shave ice business is flourishing, what a blessing man. The lord just always provides the means for our family ay and being out here on the mission iv realized how much our family really has been blessed. In every aspect of life and just so amazing how much happiness and joy the gospel has to offer us. Its only a glimpse of whats to come. Im happy mum that you've been able to come closer to your dad, he sounds like a good fala ay, give the dude my love. I know he feels something so different when our family is around him. Its just like when we go to homes that havent experienced the gospel before and after meeting with them, just leaving a very peaceful comforting presence behind. The spirit is an amazing tool that Iv been able to experience and recognize so much more of out here. But I know the power that it has to touch and change people. Because our family is so faithful, I know that he receives that same spirit. I love the story of Lehis vision of the tree of life in (1nephi 8:10-12) it talks about when lehi partakes of the fruit of the tree of life and he describes how desirable the fruit is, how pure and white and glorious the fruit is. He immediately desires his family and friends to come and try it also. This story represents the fruit being the gospel. We know how glorious and beneficial it is, we know where it allows us to be. We must desire that our family and friends should taste that fruit also. The mist of darkness blinds a lot of them("them" being our neighbors, friends, your dad, family) from the truth. the only way they find the iron rod is if we are brave enough and desirable enough to reach out and pull them in. We've been sharing this message along with a few other things a lot with members of our branch lately and just really waking them up to the realization that the work of the missionaries is not enough to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of all of gods children. We all as members have the same duty and important obligation to share the gospel. Joseph f. smith said that we as members will receive our celestial glory on conditions that we preach the gospel to the other sons and daughters of god. My comp and I have really been trying to do more to change the culture of our branch, the mentality of members being comfortable and content and not stepping of of their comfort zone to share the gospel, doing the harder things. Iv learned that we cant grow doing the easy things. We can only expect to become godlike through pressure, opposition, overcoming large obstacles, following Christ and in return receiving godlike characteristics. So that's been my week ay family, really have just made resolutions to help members develop faith to do missionary work. Its hard as heck when we don't have the members there to fellowship our investigators and they just all slip off the edge and we lose them. Its been a constant struggle ay but its about to change. I'm loving my mission family. This past week has been a battle ay. Its freezing as heck and hard for people to open their doors to us. I cant explain how determined I am to take care of business and do the lords work and its because of my testimony of Jesus Christ. Nothing has really changed in the work though ay, still working, searching and hoping that we end this droute of baptisms and actually do physical work that will change the branch after I'm gone. Family I love you guys ay, hope everyone is still going forward with that goal to share the gospel. Thanks for your letters of support, encouragement and powerful testimonies. I'm so blessed to have you my family. Have a massive week and please give my love to grams for all that she does for me too. I love you all, peace!!
p.s can you falas send me some music, i dont care if its a cd or a ipod or wutevas. I want that song by passion, "pure heart" and whatevers you can find. shot family. also, con can i have your other leather bible cover? shot bro.
