Mean week sounds like. Good as to hear from you guys ay. Glad everyone's home and safe. I'm glad you had that experience ash up there bro, your growing ay g, lol crack up bro bout your ACT. All g ay bro, I remember I sucked on them too bro but at least the girls loved me ay bro, that's the main thing ay lol. Con bro traveling for days ah, mean Maori mean bro. You get to see Jana n Junior? I'm happy for you bro, what jumping on Koals back now ah? bradahs lol. How's your Spanish bro? still get em ah? that's awesome ay bro, I still got a long way to go ay, but heaps of improvement here. Lia you finally happy the boys are home? lol Anyways you guys I love you ay.
I had a good hard working week out in the sun, got a mean farmers tan going on. I look skinny as and ugly so I have been humbled haha. But we have been getting fed heaps by the members so its been a really awesome summer. My July 4th was mean ay, I spent it with one of our investigator families from Honduras. It was so cool ay cuz they had all there extended family all over and we just had a good time with them, had some BBQ  tacos, str8 legit dawg! I'm starting be a Mexican ay its crack up, I can eat hot as foods now, Iv been slightly converted to the taco side lol. My missions going awesome as though family, I really am enjoying the journey, loving the people here, learning and growing all at the same time. One of our less-active members we been working with, his wife died this past week so he asked me if I could sing at his wife's funeral, kind of nervous for that ay, but that's sad about tuhine, she lived for ages ay, I remember before I left she was asking me at my fair well when do I graduate from high school lol crack up Tuhine. Awesome time for you guys to teach our families the Plan of Salvation ay. Anyways You guys still gonna send that I-pod or wut? But family that's me ay, just working through the summer. Nothing new here for me, just trying to be obedient ay. Me and my comp really get a long well and work well together so ill let you know how things  go. I love you family, have a sweet week ay. Keep working the plan yal!

whanau

Kia ora fala ow brosifskis! hows em goin? lol
Good as to hear from you guys ay, thanks for your letters. I really had a dang awesome week ay. The work here in Janesville is growing and I feel like every Hispanic knows us. Its such a small world in the Hispanic culture so everyone knows each other. I love it here and continue to have awesome learning experiences and tasks that don't let me get comfortable at all. I love getting hard tasks now and am grateful for this time I have to see and experience first hand the obstacles life has to offer and how the Saviors light guides us through them all. He really is the answer to every wrong or bad thing in this life we never need to wonder where to go in hard times, he's there. Had a crazy experience these past couple of days with a family I been teaching ever since I got here, the photo with the Mexican family and 2 girls. We really have been through thick and thin with them and really trying to help them with the gospel to live it. They've been wanting to get baptized as a family for a long time now but have been having the hardest time in their marriage. Last night we went over to see them and the wife wanted to divorce and leave her husband. It was the saddest thing to see ay family, their girls crying and even the dad, because of all the things they have suffered with their parents. He loves his family so much and was just saying that he wants to be a good father and knows that God can help him be better. He's screwed up several times already and they have no trust in him. Its so sad how Satan leads us and entices us to sin, we fall into it and we see that he's never their to support us in the end. I told this family not to give, that families are forever, that we all fall, but we all can be forgiven, I told them to remember all the people Christ forgave. We left their home when the spirit was strong and hope that they can work it out. It was a hard as situation being the mediator of all of that ay. I never have experienced anything like that in my life but I realized that I don't need to in order to know that Christ is the truth, the light and the way. Being able to testify to people about the savior has been the best thing I have ever done in my life ay. That was really the biggest thing of the week ay, hard out experience. Anyways though family I Love you guys, I'm doing good this summer, looking handsome as lol. Sounds like the house is hard out empty. Thanks for slogging your guts off to do the shave ice, I'm grateful to be here. To answer your question dad about the after life. I'm cool with going back to school asap ay, most likely after the summer when I can get my tan and muscles back. If you can get me a job too that would be nice lol. So what's the plans for me when im done? you all coming up here to get me? let me know. There's some cool crap up here that we could do, cheap trips. We could rent a car and go to Nauvoo, do Carthage jail, go to the temples down that side, independence Missouri liberty jail, its a once in a life time experience, its the trail that the pioneers of the church did, and where Joseph Smiths ministry took place, it would be cool and spiritual for us all. It would be in the winter but these activities are mostly in door anyways but let me know what you think bout that. Might as well get your moneys worth if you come up here. Anyways though family, love you guys so much ay, good luck in all your endeavors this week, tear it up, represent, second wind again ay doitz it up the gutz!

Kia ora family! how's everyone doing?? Had another mean hard working week. Been doing a lot of planning and working this week, and it was a awesome week. We are finding a lot of people to teach, planting many seeds, and trying to find those prepared to be baptized. We had a lot of success in that and are still working with the members to get our English program started. Everyone in our ward is doctors so its really hard to catch them available but hopefully sometime this month we can get everything sussed out. My mission is still a very rewarding service. With or with out the baptisms I am learning, growing my testimony and trying to do what the lord expects of me. My companion and I have a awesome companionship. We get a long and are both willing to work hard and be obedient. The mission never has been a easy course, trying to balance a lot of things all at once, kind of the way of life but I feel like the biggest thing that has helped me overcome that on my mission is just learning how to love others, Forgetting about yourself and just focusing all of your efforts on everyone around you. There's nothing better ay. I think of how awesome the savior was in portraying that attribute of love and charity. He had all the worse things happen to him, yet he was perfect, no one believed or accepted him, he was denied and rejected by his own but still he atoned for all of us, he forgives us and he has mercy on us when we fall, sin and do the wrong. Man I feel like the mission is a mini atonement, or refiners fire. We are rejected, denied, yelled at, we win some we lose some ay but as Iv just learned to love and try to follow Christ, iv been most happy whatever the outcome. Its been a joyful process and a learning one. My time here has been a labor, but we will reap our reward sometime here. Hope you guys all are doing good, and that dad is dealing with your boogies lol. tell con and ash I said thanks for writing me even though there away. I love you guys ay and am praying constantly for you, and thanking our heavenly father for blessing us with all our fortunes. Thanks for supporting me and working hard to keep me out me out here. I love my mission and am working my hardest, smartest and using every tool the lord has given me in his field of labor to use. Have a good week you falas, keep going hard to the death. No rest for the wicked ay, up the guts again, here I come!!

Honolulu Airport - Ash Flying to Utah

Kia ora family! Man good to hear from you all again. Dad I just wanted to wish you a late fathers day bro! I love you dad, you really are the best dad ay, in every way bro. Your my best friend dad, thanks for everything you do for us kids ay bro, you deserve the best dad cuz you've earned it in every way. Through out the course of my mission I have realized how much I have learned from you dad, your example, and Iv tried to be that for my companions and the people I serve, your the man dad. I wanna be a father like you to my kids when I become one and I feel like I have a good model to follow after ay. Thanks for loving our mum and treating her like a queen, cuz she is one.
Its awesome to see that everyone is growing up but also growing up on the right track, with the right vision and taking steps in the right direction. It does feel like we are going off on our own ay but really we are getting closer to living with each other eternally in the life to come, I cant wait for that ay, how awesome will that be. I cant imagine what it must have been like for heavenly father to send his only begotten son Jesus Christ to this mortal world knowing what lied his future. Man we make some sacrifices here in this life ay but my mission has really taught and showed me how rewarding our father in heaven is. He will always bless us with more than we had to sacrifice, fill and exceed the gaps in our lives with blessings, Iv seen and gained a testimony of this here in my life as a missionary.
Anyway family, I had a beautiful week. We had a huge mission conference cuz our mission president and his wife are leaving this month. Pretty sad to see them leave ay. But it was cool cuz we had Dallin H Oaks and 4 other apostles of the seventy there. It was amazing to have so many general authorities there ay, the spirit was obviously present. The coolest thing Is I got to do a musical item them. Me and that other elder who sung on my I-pod, and two other sisters accompanied us on the piano and violin. The song is called "Savior redeemer of my soul" but it was three mean ay. We did really good together, and the apostles came up to us and thanked us afterwards, it was sweet as ay. With that though I had a really good week. I learned a lot, and have plans to do more, and to be better. Me and my companion are going really good ay. I really am trying to be my best, and have learned more fully how to sacrifice my weaknesses to the lord and humble myself before him. The mission is the best place to teach someone how to re-focus or their attention and efforts from inward to outward. You learn how to forget about yourself and you learn to love everyone around you, you really are just given a chance to really learn who Christ is and what he did, its just amazing. This week we found heaps of new people, and had heaps of good lessons which some accepted to be baptized. We are starting to have more work to do and along with that we are starting a English class for our Hispanics, its called "Daily Dose" so we are doing some good work here. The summer is kicking in for sure ay,but I have high hopes always that the lord will continue to bless us with recognizing what he wants us to do to move his work forward most effectively. This is me family, I'm moving and doing what the lord wants me to. I'm loving my time and am proud to be a representative of Jesus Christ at this time in the last dispensation, of the last days. Its our time to shine you falas, the lord needs us right now!

Catalino Ramirez - One of George's investigators

Kia ora family! man summers crazy ay, everyone all over the place!!! sweet deal you falas. Man mum and dad you must be dieing ay? fa Thanks for supporting all of us in our endeavors and activities, its stuff I see everyday with families, things they don't have at all which I did have completely and it just makes me so grateful everyday for the life we have had in our family. For that reason I have been able to serve my mission fully focused and not worried at all of what is happening at home, Its a awesome feeling for me. That's so tight that Lia and Con saw Hauoli, man that guy ay, still look like a caveman? lol can you guys some how get his email for me. Anyways though sounds like every one's having a good productive summer ay. Fa ash bro good luck up their bro, tear it up g, don't be scared, cuz there's gonna be black guys talking crap hard. you just gotta shut them down bro and they'll drop their huevos. And Lia Im so happy you had a good time up in Utah, thanks for you letters and pics, you looking pretty as Lia, growing up hard, and I can tell you have grown so much just reading your letters, im so proud of you Lia. Con bro good luck up in Ohio g making the greens lol, that's crack up that Koal is going to, just grind eachadas nuts den lol. Have a good trip bro, and wheres yours letter bro? fa that's pretty messed up, lol na jokes bro, algud ay.
Thats mean that you guys are working out mum and dad, I show our family pics to all my investigators and members and they always ask if you guys are my brother and sister, so keep looking good ay.
As for me I had a really good week. Its been really slow ay lately but this week really just boosted me. We found a few new people who are awesome and prepared. I just realized how powerful the spirit is and what it can do to people. We taught a guy named Luis Hernandez and hes hard out catholic. He set his boundaries with us and told us that he wasn't changing religions or anything and that he was happy and set in his ways. We continued on teaching the restoration and it just illuminated his whole countenance. His whole mind changed and he started to get emotional. We invited him to be baptized Right there and he said "well I have to now, if the authority is back on the earth" it was so cool to see ay family. The spirit completely changed this guy just in one sitting. He said he was really confused because hes believed so much in the things that he has been taught but he said i will read and pray to know for sure. I gained a string testimony that day that the spirit can change anyone, its gods literal power and so with it in our lives we can accomplish great things. It was a really cool simple experience but my testimony has was strengthened by it. But ye family Im good as ay, learning and growing everyday. The other day I was 188 and today I was 180. The summer sun is hot as heck and im gonna be anorexic by the time its done. I'm eating like a dog too, tacos, greasy foods and Mexican everything. I have one more cool experience, the other day our investigator Catalino Ramirez called us up and asked if we could help him find a suite he could wear to church so he could look better in the lords house. It was cool as, so we went out on P-day and found a nice suite, white shirt, tie, shoes socks and the whole deal, and yesterday at church he just looked awesome, ill send you a pic. Anyway though family that's me ay just trying to go strong for the lord even in the slow times. I'm expecting miracles to happen this summer.

Kia ora kaka doodoo family!! haha fa mean as pics. Guys looking sexy az ay, I better step my game up lol. Awesome as letters though everyone, thanks! So cool mum all the things you've been able to take out of your school experiences, its just proof that the gospel can be shared, and we are in control of making those missionary opportunities present. I love that ay cuz a lot of members Iv met on my mission always express that its hard to share the gospel cuz a lot of the times the opportunity to do so doesn't come, but we have to make those opportunities ourselves. Awesome example mum. Thanks for showing me Lias text, I had a little cry just reading it. I'm so proud of you Lia, you have grown so much are a beautiful girl, in and out. Thanks for your awesome example, I'm happy you are having these kinds of experiences that have strengthened your testimony. Keep it up Lia. Ash bro, red and white bro, how's it look uce? hope you destroying guys bro, let me know how it went aight. Con g fa crack up as bro, sounds like you got yourself a mean deal out there bro, good luck with that bro. Your pics are just outstanding ay bro, your body looks too mean, and your surfing skills too bro, good on you bro. If your out this side bro, hit me up bro, ill take you to an appointment with us lol. Anyway though family my mission is mean ay. Had a crack up week. Its been slow as lately ay, ill be honest lol we been working real hard though. Its been hot as, so iv been getting my sweat on hard. Just starting to finally get use to the buses n this area and how to use them. Our areas kind of spread out along with our investigators so a lot of planning is required with the timing of the buses, to areas and being able to be at each place on time. Its crack up cuz if you miss the buss you have to wait for ages. So that's been us, just trying to think smarter wit hour resources. We had a mean district meeting this week. the topic was "the role of the holy ghost in conversion" and so right now we have 4 converts in our district and I got each of them to stand up and share their conversion experiences. It was the meanest things cuz our district got to see what its like for the investigators who are making huge changes in their lives and it was just a cool as spiritual meeting. My companion is the shyest dude ever ay. He's scared to talk in any situation so iv been really trying to help him with that, cuz he has a huge testimony that he doesn't really let shine as much as it should. We've had huge improvement though and things are sweet, were good friends so it helps a lot in our companionship unity. Ill tell you a crack up as story ay. So last week for P-day I got mad as at my comp cuz he was just being a cocky as dude to me ay so I went over to were he was sitting and smashed his head up against the well and was holding him like I was going to beat him up. lol fa I just lost myself ay for the first time in my whole mission. I felt  terrible as after and did a lot of repenting. Everything's sweet now hahah but man Jake the music ay man thought I was perfect lol but I guess Im human ay lol the pride cycle. Anyways though family. Right now were just working with a lot of families and trying to get them moving in their conversion process. Small steps right now, getting people to overcome obstacles, bad habits, temptations, you name it. And its just a reminder everyday of the reality of the atonement, its changes peoples lives and being a witness of that strengthens my own. I love it family. That's me though. Love you guys, love you dad bro, miss you too ay. Hope you guys still singing hard out together, things Ill never forget, love you bro, love you family!

I'm so proud of all that you've been able to accomplish mum and at the same time being a faithful member, mother and wife, your amazing. I know you've learned a lot ay and whats awesome to know is that its all not just gonna benefit you in this life but will give you that much more the advantage in the life to come. Everything we do here now is an eternal principle. That's why the lord over and over again instructs us to treasure up the things in this life that matter (3 Nephi 13:20-21) things that will increase our spirituality, the capacity of our inner treasures. Things that cant be taken from you. Dad bro what you been up to bro? lol working so'o, just being the man ay bro. Thanks for just being there for all of us ay dad. Looking at all the people I teach and there kids I cant help but think of how much you have supported us kids in our lives ay, with anything and everything. You came to everyone one of our activities, sports, performances etc. and there just all things Ill never forget. Your a awesome support and patriarch for our family dad, thank you.
You falas as for me, I had a good week ay. Kind of slow cuz my companion got sick the poof! I told him there's no rest for the wicked boi, you gotta better ow! But algud ay family, im taking advantage of this companionship cuz its the first have Iv had where we both speak Spanish and input in lessons, its been a huge difference. The highlight right now of my mission is seeing less actives be reactivated. We started family home evenings and taught the members how to hold there own family home evenings so its been a treat to watch each of them grow in their testimonies. it will bless them and us or the future missionaries here with member missionaries.
but ye family that's me, I'm doing awesome as, just working, trying to fulfill my purpose as best I can. I love you guys and so grateful for everything you do for me, have a massive week ay!
